| Scholarship AVYRA awards $200 scholarship money to yearend event winners and $400 scholarship money to yearend all around winners in the Senior Age Division. In past years, AVYRA has awarded $100 per event and $250 for all around winners. At the April 6th, 2009 board meeting, the board voted to increase the 2009 and beyond amounts to $200 per event and $400 for the all around winners. The winnings are added up throughout the contestants Senior years at AVYRA. A certificate will be awarded at the Yearend Awards Banquet to all Seniors, after their final year in the Senior division, that have earned scholarship money thoughout their Senior years at AVYRA. Scholarship winners have eighteen months to collect their scholarship money from the date on the scholarship certificate. Scholarship money will be paid to the college of your choice. To get scholarship money, winners must submit a letter requesting the scholarship money, include the college name, contact person and phone number. Also include whether the check should be mailed directly to you or the college.
